Altergy Appoints Nancy Frank Director of Marketing

GOLD RIVER, California – September 12, 2005 – Altergy Chief Administrative Officer Terry Carlone announced today the appointment of Nancy Frank to a newly created position, Director of Marketing.

In support of Altergy’s market development initiatives, Ms. Frank will concentrate her efforts on external and internal communications activities and on furthering the Company’s reputation as the provider of high quality, high volume, low cost fuel cell systems.

Ms. Frank brings to the position 25 years experience, primarily with technology companies national in scope. Prior to joining Altergy, Ms. Frank served as Executive Director of the Sacramento Council of AeA (American Electronics Association), the nation’s largest technology trade association. During the preceding seven years, Ms. Frank provided management and marketing consulting services through her own firms, GoldRush Communications and Frank Communications, to numerous clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups. Prior to self-employment, Ms. Frank spent 20 years in various corporate management positions at AT&T Wireless Services/McCaw Cellular Communications and at CableData/U.S. Computer Services, Inc. (now known as DST Output and DST Innovis), where she was a member of CableData’s Executive Committee and a founder and Board Director of a joint venture subsidiary, the Satellite Video Center. Her various management responsibilities have included marketing communications, public relations, industry relations, public affairs, market development, product management, new business development, employee communications, and recruiting and human resources.

Ms. Frank holds a Master’s degree from the California School of Professional Psychology (now Alliant International University) and a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL with dual majors in Psychology and Sociology.
