Altergy Scores Highest Rating in New Pike Research Assessment of Fuel Cell Markets

Folsom CA, January 2, 2012 – Altergy Systems has been named as a "key industry player" and one of the "best positioned" fuel cell companies in the expanding  "stationary fuel cell and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and backup power markets" by The Pike Pulse Report. 

Pike Research is a US consulting and market research firm that analyzes global clean technology markets. The "Pike Pulse Report: UPS/Backup Power Stationary Fuel Cells" evaluated and rated UPS and backup power fuel cell developers on various areas of execution and strategy including market share, innovation, staying power, and more.

Altergy was ranked highest due to its exhibiting "a strong supply chain and high quality, high volume manufacturing" capability.

The report also states that the fuel cell industry is in a "dynamic phase" of expansion with markets "experiencing double digit annual growth".
