Altergy's Freedom Power Systems Field Reliability Demonstrated By More Than 10 Million Hours of Operation

FOLSOM, CA – June 1, 2012 – Altergy is pleased to announce that its deployed fleet of Freedom Power fuel cell systems have surpassed 10 million hours of operation.

Mission critical applications such as telecommunications demand immediate and long lasting reliability.  Altergy's zero emission fuel cell power systems provide clean power at point of use, eliminating the need for batteries and generators to provide the reliability and continuous power that the grid cannot.  Uninterruptable power is the key to maintaining a continuous communications capability.  In addition to providing uninterruptable power, Altergy's Freedom Power Systems provide long runtimes, a small footprint, low weight, long life, low maintenance, low noise, all features critical to telecommunication applications, as well as the lowest up front capital cost and lowest total cost of ownership of any solution.
