Sustained Operations Through Wildfires

FOLSOM, California, September 18, 2020 – Altergy Systems announced today that their fuel cell systems have successfully provided continuous power to crucial communications networks which have experiencing power outages due to the current wildfires raging across the western states, such as the Shaver Lake, CA area.  Not only did these systems provide clean, reliable power, but far exceed the CPUC mandate of 72 hours of clean backup power.  Like many of Altergy’s fuel cell installations, these units provide power to critical network sites to support communications that become increasingly necessary for both residents and public safety operations during routine outages and in times of natural disasters.
